Irene is a knowledge management and learning strategist with vast experience in building multidisciplinary teams and developing stakeholder relationships. For the past 18 years she has been managing several short and long-term capacity building programmes for donors such as the European Commission, the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank and several UN agencies, among others. These programmes included developing practice-oriented training and life-long learning communities for alumni in both hybrid and online modalities. She enjoys designing and facilitating learning experiences and bringing collective ideas into action. She is enthusiastic about the role of SDGs in aligning our work towards a better world for all.
Irene is a life-long learner in the fields of education, digital technologies, design methodologies and the practice of participatory leadership. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Universidad Católica Argentina and a Masters degree in International Economics and Management from SDA Bocconi in Italy. She has lived and worked extensively in Europe and Latin America and is fluent in English, German, Spanish and Portuguese.
